The Viva Coffee Origin Trip offers coffee roasters an unparalleled opportunity to meet our incredible farm partners, witness the meticulous craftsmanship in each bean, and personally select coffees from the upcoming harvest.
In 2024 Viva Coffee hosted two Origin Trips to Brazil in May and July for a total of ten Coffee Roasters.
Over the course of the five-day guided itinerary, participants experienced:
- Farm Visits: Explored coffee farms to see the cultivation and production processes and viewed plantations for the 2024/25 green beans.
- Cupping Sessions: Participated in guided cupping sessions with farmers to handpick the finest beans from the upcoming harvests.
- Met the Producers: Connected with local coffee farmers and producers to deepen their understanding of the coffee-making process.
- Gained Industry Insights: Toured top facilities of manufacturers and suppliers to learn about trends, challenges, and opportunities in the Brazilian coffee industry.
