Viva Coffee is proud to be the Official Green Bean Sponsor of the Irish Barista Championship 2026, a celebration of Ireland’s finest barista talent, creativity and passion for specialty coffee.
Taking place at Established Coffee Roasters in Belfast on 18th–19th July 2026, the Irish Barista Championship brings together coffee professionals from across the country to showcase their skills, innovation and coffee knowledge. The event is one of the highlights of the Irish specialty coffee calendar and plays an important role in fostering excellence and community within the industry.
Supporting the Irish coffee community has always been important to us. In the early years of Viva Coffee, Lucas volunteered as the National Co-ordinator with the SCA Ireland Chapter for two years, helping behind the scenes to make the several events possible. To now return as a sponsor is a proud milestone and a reflection of our continued commitment to supporting the growth and development of specialty coffee in Ireland.

While competitor tickets have now sold out, spectator tickets are still available through the SCA Ireland website. We encourage anyone with a passion for coffee to come along, support the competitors and experience the energy and excitement of the championships.
The winner of the Irish Barista Championship 2026 will earn the honour of representing Ireland at the World Barista Championship in Panama City this October, competing against national champions from more than 50 countries and showcasing Irish coffee excellence on the global stage.
