June was a whirlwind month for Viva Coffee – packed with energy, conversations, and connection.
Last week, our founder Lucas Sampaio travelled to Geneva for the World of Coffee 2025, one of the most important gatherings in the global coffee calendar.
Over three jam packed days, Lucas had the chance to meet with roasters, exporters, and producers from across the globe – strengthening existing relationships and exploring new opportunities with potential farm partners who share our values of quality, transparency, and sustainability.
A particular focus this year was the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Lucas took part in several conversations with industry leaders and experts who are working hard to interpret and implement the new requirements. It was an invaluable opportunity to exchange knowledge and gather insights to help ensure Viva Coffee and our partners are prepared, informed, and compliant ahead of the December deadline.
These global events remind us how vibrant and collaborative the coffee industry can be. We’re returning with new ideas, strengthened partnerships, and a clear sense of purpose.
Thanks to everyone who made time to connect!
