Country: Brazil
Located on the Minas Gerais side of the Serra da Mantiqueira mountain range, the Mantiqueira de Minas region, comprising 25 municipalities, has a centuries-old tradition in the production of specialty coffees.
The farm passed through the family over many generations. The current owner, Alexander Moreira Capistrano, purchased the farm from his aunt and it is now managed by his son, Lucas. Despite inheritance divisions over time, the land has remained within the same family since the region was first settled, with continuous coffee production for over a century.
Today, Fazenda Pinhal covers approx. 240 acres, produces high-quality coffee and includes a large main house used for accommodation and events.
