This vision is brought to life through their latest and impactful initiative, “The Neighbours and Friends Program”. This is a unique opportunity for Falcafe to share their expertise in coffee production and technology with local farmers to enhance the quality of their coffee.

Falcafe invests in the education and training of small and medium sized producers in key coffee-producing regions such as the Mogiana region of Espirito Santo do Pinhal and the region of Ouro Fino. Their primary focus lies in fostering excellence in the production of specialty coffees in these regions. The farmers are given access to a dedicated agronomy team who advise on the coffee varieties most suited to the farms’ microclimates and monitor cultivation through the latest agriculture techniques.

In collaboration with two esteemed institutions in Brazil, SEBRAE and SENAR, Falcafe host field days and organise training sessions focused on the intricacies of specialty coffee. Their support extends beyond theoretical knowledge, encompassing post-harvest guidance, drying methods, cupping sessions, and assistance with coffee sales.
